Eclipse Restaurant & Events Policies and Rules

1. NO REFUND POLICY:  As soon as you have scheduled your reservation and made a payment, we begin scheduling staff and  we reserve the day/time/venue requested for your booking.  This means that no one else can be scheduled for that day/time/venue.  It also means the staff scheduled sets aside that time.  Therefore, if you are not able to make your reservation, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund for any deposit or payments made.  We can reschedule the reservation for up to 60 days or transfer services to someone else at your request.  IF we cannot fulfill your booking due to staffing issues, we will reschedule or offer a full refund if requested.  This is the ONLY exception to our No Refund Policy.

2. DISCONNECT/AFK POLICY:  We understand that internet reliability can be an issue at times, and SL can also be unreasonably difficult some days.  If you or a member of your party disconnects during your dinner, we will wait 30 minutes in total for you or them to get back in world to continue the dinner.  If you or the disconnected party does not return within that time, then a member of management will contact you to discuss options depending on how far into the dinner you were at when the disconnect occurred.  If there are frequent disconnects that are causing delays in your dinner, we reserve the right to reschedule, end or require an additional fee should the delays cause the dinner to extend unreasonably beyond the standard time frame for the package purchased.  For example, if you purchased the Romantic Dinner for 2, the expected time frame is no more than 90 minutes (45-60 minutes typically for the dinner, 30 minutes allowance for disconnects/delays/etc.), if you have frequent disconnects/interruptions and your dinner extends beyond that 90 minute mark, there may be an additional fee required, or an immediate end to the dinner.  *This is ONLY relevant in cases of delay caused by disconnects/frequent afk's.*

3. DINNER TIME FRAME POLICY:  The full service roleplay dinner is during the first hour ONLY unless arrangements are made otherwise with management for the dinner portion to extend for the full 2 hours timeframe.  Going slightly over the 1 hour time frame for the roleplay dinner is fine, it does take time away your dancing hour.  If you wish to have your dinner extend for the full 2 hour time frame, requiring the server make adjustments to the serving timeline and stay present for the full 2 hours, while you mix in some dancing between courses for a more realistic experience, please advise management of this so we can arrange it with our staff prior to  your reservation.

4.  NO SHOW/LATE SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY:  We understand that things happen and sometimes you may not be able to make a scheduled reservation.  If you find yourself unable to make your scheduled reservation, we request that you let us know within a reasonable amount of time prior to your scheduled dinner.  We do not give refunds, however we will be happy to reschedule your booking for another time.  There will be no fee to reschedule as long as we are informed prior to your booking start time that you are unable to make it.  IF you are a no show to your reserved time, and we are unable to reach and 30 minutes past your reserved time passes, then your reserved time is forfeit and you will be required to reach out to management to reschedule your dinner, there will also be a 250L$ no show/reschedule fee due at the time the dinner is rescheduled in order for the booking to be finalized.  IF you are late by 30 minutes or more for your scheduled booking, we reserve the right to canceled your booking and request it be rescheduled.  This would also require the reschedule fee of 250L$ be paid at the time the rescheduled dinner is booked.  If you have to cancel your reservation, you have 60 days from the original purchase date to reschedule it or transfer it to someone else for use.

5.  AFTER HOURS POLICY:  Our normal business hours are 8am - 8pm SLT Monday - Sunday (Holiday times may vary).  However - we also go by the statement "If we can staff it, we can book it!"  Essentially, this means we are NOT limited by "business hours", as we do have staff members who are in various time zones, therefore we are flexible and welcome requests for times outside of the "typical" business hours template.  We will do our best to ensure we have staff prior to accepting pay for the reservation, so PLEASE contact a member of management prior to paying for a booking request outside of the normal business hours.

6. CUSTOM BUILDS POLICY: If you need a custom venue built for your dinner or event, we will meet with you to see what your needs are and discuss whether or not it is something we can provide.  The price for customizations to our current venues or for a completely custom area will vary depending upon what is requested.

7. PHOTO/VIDEO POLICY: Any photos and/or videos taken by our staff may be used on our webpage, in our advertisements, social media pages, Flickr pages, etc.  These remain the property of Eclipse Restaurant & Events.  We welcome our guests to take their own photos around the restaurant areas as well as anywhere throughout the Deviant Dragon Sim, and it's sister Sim, Deviant Tranquility.  However, we do not allow our properties be used for commercial purposes without prior permission.

8. GRIEFING/BULLYING/CRASHING:  Griefing, bullying, crashing HUD's and otherwise abusive behavior will NOT be tolerated.  Any of the above activities can result in a permanent BAN from the Sim.

9. BLOODLINES AND OTHER SYSTEMS:  We request that while you are at Eclipse, you refrain from having these HUD systems attached/enabled.  This is to prevent issues from arising and interruptions of dinners and events from occurring.

10. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:  While Eclipse is a business on a virtual world, there are actual humans behind the computer screens who have feelings just as you do.  As such, mistakes can be made and while we strive to ensure that your time with us is perfect, sometimes things to happen.  We reserve the right to end and/or cancel a booking if any mistreatment of our staff has occurred by the client.  Refunds may not be given.  If at any point you have a concern or issue arise with your reservation or during your dinner or event, we request that you communicate in a respectful manner with our staff, and if needed, it will be escalated to management for a resolution.  There is no circumstance under which the abuse or mistreatment of our staff is acceptable behavior.  If you feel that you have been mistreated by one of our staff members, we request that you avoid confronting the staff member and immediately reach out to a manager, forwarding screenshots or logs of the interaction so that it can be handled by the management team.

11. PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS: All bookings will require either 2500L$ or the full amount (whichever is the lesser) to reserve the date and time for your reservation.  The full balance remaining must be paid no less than 7 calendar days prior to your reserved date to avoid it being cancelled and needing rescheduled.  Payments should be made in the shop vendors or directly sent to xAlassrax.  No payment should ever be sent to any other avatar.  If payments are sent directly to xAlassrax, please send a notecard as well with details regarding what the payment is for to ensure that it is applied to the correct reservation.

12. CHILD AVATARS POLICY:  The Deviant Dragon Sim is an Adult Sim, and because of this, we do not allow child avatars or any type of age play on the Sim.  However, we do understand that some of our guests may request exceptions to this for family dinners and/or events at Eclipse.  Therefore, the Eclipse Restaurant & Event area will allow for some exceptions to this rule, ONLY if approved at the time the booking is being done.  Do NOT book your dinner/event if you plan on having a child avatar in attendance without first informing a member of staff to get a pre-approval for this.  Refunds will not be given due to failure to adhere to policy guidelines and ignorance of them.  Child avatars are NOT under any circumstances allowed in any of our suites or anywhere else on the Sim.  They may attend the dinners and dancing with their parents/grandparents/other family members, but this is the extent of their allowed time on the Sim.  They will need to promptly leave the Sim once the dinner/event is over.
